How much do calls cost?
Just 15p per minute for the first 5 minutes of calls each day and 5p per minute after that. And you pay the the same - 24 hours a day

That's for:

Standard UK calls, peak or off-peak
Calls to other Virgin Mobile phones
Virgin Mobile's WAP service
Most freephone 0500, 0800 and 00800 numbers

Virgin Mobile will not charge for calls to the freephone numbers of the charities and helplines we've listed.

Calls you make count towards the daily build-up of minutes each day, except free calls, calls from abroad and flat rate calls, e.g. a call to our team.

How much do text messages cost?
It costs just 3p to text another Virgin Mobile customer within the UK.

There are no rules and no limits. Just one great rate for all our customers. Sending text messages to mobiles on other networks costs just 10p. And, of course, they're totally free to receive.

Some Nokia phones can send text messages up to 3 times as long as normal. They'll be delivered as separate messages, so you'll be charged for each.

Our calls are billed by the second and our charges are rounded up to the nearest penny. International calls to the UK and those received abroad are billed to the minute. All prices include VAT.

To start using your credit or debit card with us you'll need to register it with our team. To register it online, just visit "Your Account" (www.virginmobile.com/youraccount/YourAccountLogin) and click on "Register your credit debit card". Or call us on 789 from your Virgin Mobile phone to talk to our team. Topping up with your credit or debit card means you can start earning free airtime as a bonus, too! Accepted cards are Visa, Delta, MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Solo and Virgin.

E-top up card
We'll give you a personal swipecard that lets you buy between £5 and £100 of airtime from over 40,000 stores, petrol stations or corner shops displaying the green top up logo.

Pay As You Go voucher
Available in £10 or £20 denominations from Virgin Megastores Xpress, Our Price, Virgin Megastores and other high street retailers nationwide. To top up, dial 789 from your Virgin Mobile phone and enter the unique reference number on the back of the voucher. For a full list of stockists, click here.

Sky top up
If you're a Sky customer, you can top up through your TV. Top up through your telly! You can now top up from your armchair and watch TV at the same time. If you’ve got Sky digital and have a Satellite dish, you can watch Sky One, Sky Sports, or any channel, whilst topping up your airtime. Just press ‘red’ then pick ‘Your Mobile’ from the menu. Or, just press the ‘Interactive’ button on your remote control. Then, follow the instructions to top up. You can spend up to £100. When you’re all done you’ll receive a confirmation message, and a few minutes later you’ll be all topped up. We’ll also send you a text message to let you know. You need to be 16 or over to use this, and it costs the same as a local call. Sky Channels are also available via cable and Freeview but this does not provide access to Sky Active.
